birds eat the plastic toys bought from bird stores etc. are they safe to eat for them as they play?
Parrots chew toys apart; that's natural. If your bird is actually ingesting bits of plastic toys, that is NOT good and can lead to serious health complications.
Birds have been injured or killed because people assume that stores only sell safe bird toys. This assumption is WRONG.
