Should I get a Quaker parrot or a Sun conure?
I have to make a choice soon. I want an intelligent bird but I also want it to be friendly and pretty.
Prices- Quaker $200
Conure-$350
I have until the end of june to get a bird!
The person I get them from hand tames them so plase dont say anything else about the birds being mean!

I would suggest educating yourself on their behavior before you adopt one who may bite you. Quakers and Conures both are known to bite if you do not know what you are doing around them. And it hurtd bad too with blood. I suggest getting a cockatiel while you educate yourself in the other breeds.
Conures are more often louder then quakers are. But both breeds tend to be noisey and nippy if you do not know their behavior signs of them being upset. So please be very careful when going to adopt one.
I have 3 quakers now and have had conures. I like the quakers best but it pays to understand their behavior for signs of them getting ready to bite.
