hiding bird?
My african grey parrot is really sweet most of the time. shes really good with people and doesnt bite. but yesterday i had her out of the cage and she was standing on the counter in our craft type room and she climbed into the shelf with the newspapers on it. So i went over there to get her out but she tryed to bite me. what would cause her to do this?
It might be that she's found a spot she wants to use as a nesting spot. If she's really bonded to someone she may be in the mood to mate, etc. The other option is that she just really liked the spot and wanted to be left alone. Greys can be weird that way
