How Do I Introduce My 2 Year Old Cat To A 5 Year Old Ferret?
I have had a cat for 2 years. My freinds cousin is giving me his 5 year old ferret. How should I intoduce them for the best results?
when your cat is carlm (e.g. when its lieing in its bed)
approch it whist holding the ferret in its hands. come close towards your cat and softly talk to it saying its ok and things liek that. put the ferret done but still touching its back gentally so u can grab him wen needed and can stop him from wondering off.
stay in the room for a while watching them.
if the cat doesnt care and isnt interested, just let the feret walk around the room more so it catches the sents of the cat and nos its his/her teritory. is the cat is startaled by it or gets angrey simply pat the cat and the ferte together to let the cat no that he /she wont give any harm. then pat the cat and grab teh ferret and go out the door.
theres nothing else you can really do!!!! hopefully the cat will either not bother it or become friends with it!!!!!!!1
