Can I house lovebirds with my finches?
Hey I was going to get a pair of peach faced lovebirds would it be okay to house them in my 2mX1.4m outdoor aviary with 2 zebra finches and 2 gouldian finches??
Absolutely not...
Lovebirds are actually one of the most aggressive Parrots, they are often called the "Pitbull" of birds. Lovebirds should not be housed with any other type of bird, because they will even attack larger sized Parrots. A Lovebird would surely kill the finches, especially since they are extremely territorial. You'll want to keep the Lovebirds by themselves, and if you do choose to introduce more then one pair keep in mind that they should never be kept in only two pairs but three.
