I have 3 dogs that are each 15 lbs overweight. My vet says to feed them 3 cups of food per day. Is it enough?

Bassetts are at great risk when over weight so do work on getting their weight under control. NO table scraps ect. What do you feed them normally? Cut the amount you usally feed in half and go from there. I have german shepherds and if I still fed kibble most of them would not get the amount your vet told you to feed. You also need to look at what kind of food you are feeding. The better grain free foods you would need to feed less since they are much better quality and not filled with corn or other grains that waste space.
