Why are women's "personal" toys made to "fill her tent" but not to stimulate her more sensitive outside areas?
Isn't that like making a whole line of toys for men that only...blew his bubbles... but never rode his pogo stick?
I mean... Doesn't customer satisfaction suffer?

Plenty of toys focus on the outside areas, including toys that can be purchased as innocuous looking "personal massagers". Some fit on the fingertips and some have AC adapters and are quite powerful. That market is such that even companies like Hitachi make them, which suggests to me that they are the bigger market.
However, you have to also consider the mechanics involved. Devices such as Hitachi's, though they do have special attachments, are pretty universal. If someone likes that sort of stimulation, a Hitachi Magic Wand can provide. The need for variants comes with more discrete or flexible items, like those that fit on the fingertips.
The need for variety in the other category is FAR greater. I don't just mean variations in size and shape but variations in hardness, stiffness, compatibility with one's preferred personal lubricant, and so forth. Even color is more of an issue with such items because for some, the insertive aspect makes it more personal.
