Is the top light on a jeep cherokee supposed to work?
Is the 3rd brake light (the one on the top of the back hatch) of a 99 cherokee supposed to work or is it just a reflector. how do you change it if it is a light. i unscrewed it and it wouldnt move. will this fail me from the drivers licence check
The 3rd brake light is, indeed, a light and not just a reflector. It is mandatory in all states and is grounds for police to give you a ticket and also to fail a safety inspection.
It should just pop off and you can replace the bulb.
